Jazz on the mountain

A visit by the young and innovative New York jazz scene! According to Time Out, Jason Lindner “ranks among the finest all-round pianists of his generation”. “This is the sound of young New York”, commented the BBC enthusiastically. Since the 1990s Lindner has been a fixed star on the New York jazz heaven and feels very much at home in the jazz tradition as well as in rock, rythm & blues or African music. When this piano virtuoso meets the cellist Dana Leong the tension mounts like in a jazz club in Manhattan. Leong, who also lives in New York, has in the past few created his individual style with elements from hip hop, jazz, pop and classical music and thus perfectly fits Lindner’s open-minded and experimental music.
