Booking and Deposit
We look forward to your visit. For a definitive reservation, we require immediately a deposit of 30% of the desired arrangement. The deposit can be done through paid on the following link or by a via bank transfer specifying the offer number of the offer: Südtiroler Sparkasse, Filiale Lana, BIC CRBZIT2B025, IBAN: IT91 I060 4558 4900 0000 0132 000. Should we not receive the deposit in time, the room will be made re-available for booking.

Temporary visitor tax
A temporary visitor tax will be levied on all stays in accommodation establishments in South Tyrol. The fee is 2.90 Euros per person (14 years or older) per night and it is only payable on departure.
Shuttle service
There is no road up to vigilius. You will arrive after a short trip by cable car.
On your arrival at the valley station in Lana, our colleagues will be waiting for you with your cable car tickets. In order to make your arrival as smooth as possible, we kindly ask you to inform us of your estimated time of arrival and your mobile telephone number. Should you arrive outside the regular cable car times, the Guest Relations team will gladly inform you of the daily extra rides.

Please note that you can leave your car at the hotel’s own underground parking or at the parking area in the valley station.
Check in/Check Out
Your room is ready for check in after 3 pm, whilst the check out time is at 11 am. Upon availability, we are glad to offer early check in or late check out for an extra fee.
Smoke-free at 1500 meters altitude
Take a deep breath on car-free Mt. Vigiljoch. The vigilius mountain resort also implements its deep respect for nature within its building. Therefore, we kindly ask our guests to refrain from smoking in the rooms, the restaurant, the spa area as well as in all corridors and lounges. We provide ashtrays on the terraces and balconies. Thank you very much for your understanding.
Internet access
In all rooms there is free Wi-Fi from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests may also use free internet at the internet station in the library.
Dogs
Your dog is welcome! Could there be a better place than the meadows and larch woods to romp around? Please understand that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room, the Restaurant 1500 and the vigilius mountain spa. In order to avoid any inconvenience to other guests, we allow a maximum of 5 dogs at one time in vigilius. For your pet we charge 45.00 Euro per day without food. We would like to inform you that according to the Italian law, dogs are required to wear a muzzle in the cable car. If required, the staff of the cable car will provide one for a deposit.
Spa Bookings
In order to avoid disappointment we kindly ask you to book your spa treatments in advance. Please click on the link of our spa treatments for more details. Should you be hindered for any reason, we ask you to please cancel the reserved treatment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. In the event of a short term cancellation, we will charge the regular fee.
In off season
In this period you can inhale even more intensely the calm atmosphere in the vigilius and in the surrounding nature. The Restaurant 1500 and the Stube ida are alternately open in the evening and offer a wide choice of culinary experiences. During daytime the Stube ida is open daily.
General cancellation policy
Up to 14 days prior to arrival the cancellation is free of charge and the deposit will be refunded. In case of cancellation between 13 to 7 days prior to arrival the paid deposit of 30% of the total amount will be retained. For later cancellations 80% of the booked arrangement will be charged. In case of no-show, the full booking amount will be charged, the same applies in case of late arrival or early departure. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. These cancellation policies are applicable even in case the room has been fully or partially resold.
Payment
Due to the Italian law, payment in cash can be accepted up to 4,999.99 Euro.
Start of season
We will close the vigilius on 03.03.2024. The summer season starts on 24.04.2024.
