Kadri Voorand in duo with Mihkel Mälgand

A liaison worth listening to: Kadri Voorand is an exceptional Estonian singer and composer, combines contemporary jazz with Estonian folk music, rhythm & blues and Latin American rhythms in several ensembles with different casts. In 2017 she was awarded the Estonian Music Prize for the best Artist and for the best jazz album of the year ("Armupurjus"). Mihkel Mälgand is among Estonia's most successful bassists and has worked with renowned musicians such as Nils Landgren, Dave Liebman and Randy Brecker. Both will present own compositions for piano, bass and voice accompanied by electronic effects and – of course – improvisations. Kadri Voorand sings her own words or Estonian lyric.

Jazzfestival package starting at 12 a.m., Euro 21,00 per person including cable car ticket, Vernatsch wine degustation and cheese.
