The mountain awakens the senses to a new life – the move & explore programme at the vigilius mountain resort is conceived to sensibly and sensuously include the benefits of the mountain, both internally and externally. The Five Tibetan Rites ®, a gentle wake-up workout in our day room or aqua pilates in the infinity pool are on the agenda in the mornings.
Active guests are of course drawn outside during the day, as nature is the gym at the vigilius mountain resort. Gain new energy by mountain biking, Nordic walking, hiking barefoot, running or going on long hikes to the most stunning spots up Monte San Vigilio/Vigiljoch. The free sports programme also includes special offers such as archery, a core workout using the Theraball, the ABC run for beginners and a whole variety of other offers that you can find in our weekly programme.
Lovers of nature and the silence in winter will love Monte San Vigilio/Vigiljoch. A nostalgic chair lift from bygone days and two short drag lifts are the modest infrastructure in the small skiing area where the children from Lana gather their first experiences on skis. On weekdays, there is hardly ever a sound penetrating the deep wintry silence up Monte San Vigilio/Vigiljoch. When Mother Hulda means well with us, the move & explore programme offers snowshoe hikes through untouched landscapes covered in deep snow throughout the winter. There is also a well-established toboggan run near the chair lift as well as an option of ice skating and curling at the black lake. A nature holiday in the winter too.

The mountain fuels the urge to exercise. Days at the vigilius mountain resort mean finding the time and leisure to focus your entire attention on yourself and your own physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Apart from our free move & explore programme, you can also book our sports guide for private sessions, a day exclusively for you or even for a programme as part of a Fit Week. The sports programme is of course geared entirely towards your personal requirements, whether you want to be actively sporty, gain more strength and stamina, or long for meditative relaxation and want to find inner harmony through gentle exercise.

Body - Mind - Nature
The desire for movement in nature, which is equally demanding on body, mind and soul, finds the ideal space for development in the forests and on the meadows and pastures around the vigilius mountain resort. Untouched and natural like the landscape itself, man finds his way back to his origins much more quickly and effectively. vigilius Fitness Coach Barbara Egger also sees the causal connection between us humans and nature as the motor for a new urge to move and the joy of discovering oneself anew in the course of training sessions for body, mind and soul.
Barbara found her way to sport through the martial art of Yoseikan Budo and underwent extensive further training in the areas of cardio training, sport mental coaching and kinesiology; always open-minded, she is eager to pass on her knowledge in the diverse move & explore programs and in personal training.
Yin & Yang
Activity and rest are pairs of opposites, as in Yin & Yang they are mutually exclusive and yet fundamentally dependent on each other. Phases of activity are followed by periods of rest in order to recharge one's batteries, and vice versa, periods of rest give people the tools they need to master new challenges and make the best possible use of their own energy.
The Yin & Yang Days include five activities, which can be selected after a preliminary discussion via e-mail or telephone and divided into four to seven days. During a personal meeting at the vigilius mountain resort, the exact contents of the Yin & Yang Days will be discussed.
Mental balance
The vigilius mountain resort is the ideal place to find your own inner peace, which is often lost in the hectic of everyday life. The Mental Balance Program shows new, easily manageable ways to sustainably overcome stress.
The Mental Balance Program includes four activities, which can be selected from a list and taken on four to seven days. After a preliminary talk by e-mail or telephone, another meeting will be held on site to discuss the exact contents and the selection of the four activities from the list
4 seasons 4 fitness
Every season exudes its own charm and brings with it its own energy of change. Sometimes it lures you outdoors, sometimes it invites you to a quiet retreat. The 4 seasons 4 fitness programs at the vigilius mountain resort are adapted to the respective season and include corresponding activities in nature and in the house. Each training package includes three activities, which can be spread over three to five days.
